Award Dutch foundation 'Lieve Engeltjes'
Stichting Lieve Engeltjes is a Dutch foundation made up of dedicated volunteers who contribute with great commitment. Each year, one volunteer is honored as "Volunteer of the Year."
The sculpture, which has been awarded to this volunteer since 2012, was created by me.

Lieve Engeltjes is a support group for anyone who has experienced the loss of a child: parents, siblings, grandparents, and other family members and loved ones.
Through this foundation, you can connect with others who have gone through similar experiences. It is often incredibly valuable to share your feelings, to find recognition and understanding in each other, and to talk to people who only need a few words to understand what you're going through.
Several support groups have been established to ensure that there is always a group that fits your situation and where you can feel a sense of belonging. Most groups are for parents whose child passed away during pregnancy, during childbirth, or at a young age after birth. However, there are also groups for parents whose child died at an older age or for those whose loss occurred a longer time ago.

After the award was presented, I increasingly received the question of whether the sculpture could be purchased and ordered as well. My answer is yes. The sculpture is available for order, without the engraved text and without the base.
